[GOB] is currently looking for a few good men and WOMEN to bolster its grumpy community. We are an eclectic group of misfits and outcasts that share a simple goal: to have fun gaming! Our grumpy members vary in age and skill level, we're here to have fun and blow off steam. We do not like drama, stress or too many rules. We do, however, reserve the right to be Grumpy.
Our diverse community plays a variety of games! We enjoy both FPS, RPG and Strategy games. Among the most popular are Battlefield Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, World of Warcraft, Company of Heroes and many others.
We currently have one 32-man BFBC2 ranked server open to everyone. We utilize Team Speak; X-Fire and Steam for communications between team members while gaming.
So, whether you like to frag your opponents, impress your buddies with your sniping skills, wreak havoc on the battlefield in an Abrams, tend to your Farm or even explore competitive play in league matches, you should think about fraternizing with us, providing that you satisfy the following crucial grumpy requirements:
NO HACKING
HAVE FUN
SHOW RESPECT
HAVE FUN
NO DRAMA!

Grumpy Ole Bastards [GOB] was formed by three men of different ages on May 13, 2010 simply as a place for friends to gather and have fun gaming. Sadly, these men were all grumpy bastards!
Having left the same highly structured clan for personal and other reasons, these grumpy ole guys set out to put a smile on people's faces and to also put the fun back into gaming. These men called themselves the "grumpy ole bastards" and the name eventually stuck.
Today, GOB has become an extremely active and diversified gaming community. We feel that GOB truly represents what a gaming community should be. What is unique about GOB is that in the beginning, no one was recruited; everyone came over willingly to have fun gaming and to help build the community through their own initiative. Also unique to GOB is that there is no hierarchy – there are a few who take care of the administrative functions, but the overall structure and actions of the community are decided by its members.
